Just 7 kilometres away from the Landhaus Empl is the Ski Region of Ski Amadé, where there are more than 800 kilometres of ski runs and slopes where you can ski to your heart’s content!

It does not matter if you are a beginner or an expert, there are runs of very different levels to cater for all. The pistes are prepared daily to the highest standards to offer you the best possible quality and all set in a wonderful alpine panorama.

Thanks to modern lift facilities long waiting times to get on a lift are a thing of the past and you will be lifted comfortably and swiftly to the top of the slopes. You can make the most of your day without wasting valuable time waiting around.

What can be nicer than a winter break where you don’t have to worry about a thing? You don’t even need a car as the Ski Bus leaves at regular intervals from right outside the hotel and it is free for our guests. You arrive quickly and without fuss at Alpendorf ready to take the lift up to the slopes !

Other ski resorts in the area are the Gastein valley and  Mülbach-Hönig, which are also just a short drive away. We can advise you as to the opportunities and snow conditions available in the area.

Extra: Our ski boot drying  room is available for your use at any time. After a long day in the cold and snow, your ski and snow-board boots will be warm and dry by the next morning. Let the skiing commence!
