The modern lift facilities have increased their carrying capacity so that long waiting times to get on a lift are a thing of the past. A free Ski Bus leaves from outside our hotel, so that our guests who are spending their winter holiday with us can get easily and punctually to the ski slopes. Other ski resorts in the area are the Gastein valley and Mülbach-Hochkönig, just a short drive away. We can advise you on the spot about the best ski conditions in all our local ski areas.

We have a ski boot room is for your use so after a long day in the cold and snow, your ski and snow-board boots will be warm and dry by the next morning. Let the skiing begin !

As a guest at the hotel in St. Veit you can borrow a sledge at any time to venture out on an exciting toboggan trip. The Landhaus Empl is particularly well situated as the starting point for a sledge ride as it is just 100 metres away from a floodlit toboggan run! So nothing can stop you from that romantic sledge ride by moonlight whilst on holiday in St. Veit ! A glass of local ‘Obst’ will help you on your way !
