A Walking Network to impress you!
We particularly like to welcome walkers to our hotel in St.Veit. Our Landhaus is linked to an extensive network of walking routes, which take you to some of the most beautiful places in the area. Be enchanted by the beauty of nature, discover our idyllic mountain lakes or go on the trail of our indigenous wild animals.
The many local mountain huts offer a genuine taste of life in times gone-by where you can stop to enjoy great snacks and homemade delicacies. For those who do not know their way around, thanks to the well signposted paths, there are plenty of opportunities to find out about the Salzburg mountains.
If you would prefer to listen to the advice of “an old hand”, the hotel owner is available to share valuable local knowledge as well as showing you the stunning countryside around St.Veit on his regular weekly guided walks.
The network of paths is suitable for all. From the beginner to the most experienced. All levels of difficulty are catered for from the demanding conquering of a mountain peak lasting several hours to the gentle stroll to the nearest alpine pasture where you simply want to enjoy the pleasant surroundings.
Whatever your level of fitness, you will benefit from the unique air quality in the “Luftkurort”, St. Veit. The pure oxygen will support you in any activity you choose!
