Nature at its best
Eisriesenwelt, Werfen (Giant Ice Caves)

The Grossglockener High Alpine Road
You will be able to drive to the most famous of all the alpine roads in just 30 minutes. The winding and twisting road brings you directly to the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park and to Austria’s highest mountain, the Grossglockener at 3,798 metres. Beware of the marmots ! Liechtensteinklamm (the Liechtenstein Gorge and Waterfalls)
After hundreds of years the water has smoothed its way slowly through the mass of rock and left behind amazing caves and ravines. You can experience the unique atmosphere when you walk through the deep gorges following the fast flowing river. The Krimml Waterfalls
The Krimml waterfalls are the highest in Europe with a drop of 309 metres and represent the beauties of Nature in the Hohe Tauern National Park. The Falls have been, for years, a reflection of the very power of nature itself. The Krimmler Waterfalls are in the Hohe Tauern National Park and can be reached in one hour by car. Salt mines at Hallein
Follow in the footsteps of the Celts when you visit the salt mines at Hallein just 50 minutes drive away from the hotel. You will be taken in a mining truck into the depths of the mountain, where you will cross by boat a mystical mountain lake or even taste the saltwater with a 27% salt content. Game and Leisure Park at Ferleiten
Just a 30 minute drive away is the Ferleiten Game and Leisure Park, where over 200 animals are kept on about 15 Hectares. Discover more about the indigenous animals and see the many species on your tour around the park. There is a 20,000 square metre leisure park for the children which will keep them amused and happy. Castles and Palaces
Castle Hohenwerfen
Burg Hohenwerfen towers up 155 metre over the Salzach valley as a strategic stronghold on a prominent rocky crag. Today the castle has been made into visitors’ centre where you can experience a wide range of events such as concerts, theatre productions, traditional evenings and festivals. A particular attraction is the historical Falconer’s courtyard where daily flying displays of birds of prey take place.

Salzburg, the city of Mozart
You just have to visit the birthplace of Mozart with its countless sights and be enchanted by the unique atmosphere there ! Especially worth visiting are the Cathedral, St. Peterskirche (church), the Schloss Mirabell (palace), Schloss Helbrunn (Helbrunn Palace), the Getreidegasse (Medieval Street), and the Fortress.
