Of course, some of you will want to climb one or two of the peaks in our stunning mountain panorama. You have from the starting point of our hotel an almost unlimited choice. The many clearly marked walks enable you to gain a completely new perspective of the Salzburg Alpine World. The most beautiful places and routes are usually known only to the locals, that’s why we offer a weekly walk led personally by the hotel owner who will show you the best paths and the most hospitable mountain huts and pastures. Local ‘Alm’ produce is a must for any lunch !
For the golf enthusiasts amongst you we have a real treat in store. Within 40 minutes drive you can reach eight 18-hole golf courses in great locations with magnificent views whilst you play your round of golf. At the Goldegg Golf Club which is just 7 minutes drive away from our hotel, all guests receive a 20% reduction in the current green fees. You also get 20% discount on all coaching sessions at the Goldegg Golf Academy. So don’t forget to pack your golf clubs when you visit us in the Landhaus Empl in St. Veit.
There is nothing better after an energetic day beneath an azure blue sky in brilliant sunshine than to jump into cool water! We can even offer you that! Situated right by our hotel is the idyllic open air pool with a magnificent view where you can have fun, or relax your aching muscles by swimming a couple of leisurely lengths in the pool. But just in case the weather were to suddenly change and a cool breeze spring up, the pool is heated to a constant 23-27° to ensure your continued comfort and enjoyment of the Panorama Pool.
